Two Footed Soccer Players : Duncan Oughton, Toronto FC Assistant Coach
Being able to use two feet in soccer is important. As a coach, I suggest trying to encourage your players to use both feet during practice sessions. In a controlled environment, try to teach your players to be comfortable with their weaker foot while dribbling, passing, and shooting. With practice, they will be more inclined to use it and succeed in a game when forced onto that foot. Here is a SweetShot90 tip to help a player develop both feet when shooting- While enjoying your SweetShot90 soccer target, challenge yourself and your players to hit it through with both feet. Make it a little competition (the first player to get it through with a right and left footed strike wins). You will have fun and get better at the same time!
