Safety For Your Soccer Players : Duncan Oughton, Toronto FC Assistant Coach

An important issue in soccer that often times overlooked by us coaches, but very important for the players and ourselves, is safety!

Before practice or games, inspect you're playing surface. Ensure that the field is clear of sharp/dangerous objects, move goals or other potentially dangerous objects away from the edge of your grid or sidelines. Check to make sure the goal posts are secured or weighted down safely. A safe environment for your team makes for a great session! Here is a Sweetshot90 tip- Before securing your soccer practice tool (Sweetshot90) to the crossbar, make sure the goal is secured or weighted down. Once the goal is secure and your sweetshot90 is attached, you're ready to start shooting and having fun! Sweetshot90 is the type of soccer equipment that makes soccer training fun.
